It ends here...

It took me a few days to gather the courage to write this.

I haven't really been myself lately. A lot of that came from decisions I made that I wish I could take back. As much as I'd love to change the past, I can't. The only thing I can do is learn from it, forgive myself, and keep moving forward.

So this is my last post, and if you're still new to experiencing life, loving people, making mistakes, and figuring yourself out, I hope something here stays with you.

Your life doesn't have to look perfect to be meaningful. Everyone's journey is different. Trust that you're exactly where you need to be, even if it doesn't make sense yet.

Protect your peace. Build walls where they're needed, and don't tear them down for just anyone. The people who truly want to be in your life won't ask you to abandon yourself. They'll find a way to meet you where you are.

If you were raised with morals and values, don't make exceptions just because you're afraid of losing someone. Living with guilt is much heavier than living with disappointment. God forgives, but learning to forgive yourself can take much longer.

Dream as big as your heart allows. Anyone who constantly makes you doubt yourself or shrinks your dreams doesn't deserve a front-row seat in your life.

Don't regret taking the difficult road. Sometimes the lessons that hurt the most become the ones that protect you later. At least now you know what you'll never accept again.

Pay attention to how people treat you, how they speak to you, and where they place you in their lives. Actions rarely need translating.

Don't make promises you can't keep. And don't feel guilty for struggling to trust someone who repeatedly breaks theirs.

It's okay to be afraid. Life is one long lesson, and almost everything feels terrifying before it becomes familiar.

Love yourself enough to give yourself the care, patience, and attention you're so willing to give everyone else.

People usually know what they're doing. And honestly, it's 2026. If they genuinely don't know something, they can probably figure it out after a conversation with an AI. Don't keep making excuses for people who aren't willing to put in the effort.

Stop making yourself endlessly available to people who take your presence for granted. Save that time for yourself and for the people who truly value you.

If someone suddenly changes the way they treat you, don't ignore it. Sometimes people only appreciate you while you serve a purpose in their lives. That isn't your fault, and it isn't your responsibility to earn back a place you never should've had to fight for.

Keep reading. Keep learning. Keep feeding your mind. Knowledge is one thing nobody can take away from you.

Surround yourself with people who believe in staying through better and worse, in health and in sickness. Those are the people worth building a life with.

If you're afraid to express your feelings because of how someone might react, you're probably not in a space that's emotionally safe.

Be grateful for everything. The victories, the failures, the people who stayed, the people who left, the lessons, the heartbreaks, and the moments that changed you. They all shaped who you're becoming.

Reality has a way of humbling all of us. It doesn't send a warning before it arrives. Stay grounded, stay prepared, and never stop growing.

More than anything, I hope you find peace. I hope you find people who are genuine. I hope you're loved without having to beg for it, appreciated without having to prove your worth, and happy in ways that don't depend on anyone else's approval.

And finally, I hope you never lose yourself trying to keep someone else.

Take care of your heart. It's the only one you'll ever have.
